Set in the heart of Manchester, DEKA FIT takes place at Manchester Central, a landmark venue in one of the UK’s most dynamic cities. With its rich history, buzzing atmosphere, and unbeatable accessibility, it’s the perfect stage for athletes from across Europe to come together.

Manchester Central combines historic architecture with modern facilities, offering a world-class space for the ultimate indoor fitness challenge. Here, competitors will experience the full DEKA FIT race environment all under one roof.

DEKA IGNITE is a team experience like no other. This is a physical challenge designed for the modern workplace whereby companies can build stronger teams through an unforgettable fitness challenge that combines collaboration, strategy and fun.

DEKA IGNITE offers a dynamic corporate bonding experience where teams of four, competing in male, female, or co-ed categories, tackle 10 specialised fitness zones connected by 500m running or walking intervals. This race is built on strategy and collaboration, as the baton-passing format requires teams to thoughtfully share the workload and play to each member's individual strengths. With a 90-minute time limit to complete the entire course, it provides a high-energy environment perfect for meaningful team building and unique client engagement opportunities.

The DEKA FIT Challenge is 10 Zones of Functional Excellence.

Every DEKA FIT competitor will complete the following sequence. Each zone is preceded by a 500m run, totaling 5km of running across the entire course.

Zone 2: 500m Row
Zone 3: 20 Box Jump / Step Overs
Zone 4: 25 Med Ball Sit-up Throws
Zone 5: 500m Ski Erg
Zone 6: 200m Farmer’s Carry
Zone 7: 25 Calorie Air Bike
Zone 8: 20 Dead Ball Wall Overs
Zone 9: 100m Sled Push / Pull
Zone 10: 20 RAM Burpees
